This course is an in-depth study emphasizing the biblical method of Christian
counseling, although a brief overview is made of other prevalent theories among
psychiatrists, psychologists, and counselors. The student will be guided in formulating
a biblical foundation and effective procedure in counseling while also having to deal with
specific counseling needs. Students will interact in practical counseling preparation
through collection of informational resources, discovering the source of the problem
revealed in counseling, developing a procedural method of biblical change, and
assigning specific homework for continuing counseling. Case studies will be submitted.
