This course presents the biblical basis for the pastor's responsibility in church administration
such as overseer of the church, material asset manager, educational director, shepherd of
the flock, and church representative before the public. Specific studies are made in relation to
the administrator's staff, church finances, building programs, and management control.
Administrative theory is developed that will aid in building effectiveness in leadership,
communication, relationships, and follow-through. Principles of organization will be studied to
foster effectiveness and expedience in administrative oversight. One semester, two hours.
